Alois Ander was born on October 13th, 1817 in Budissin (Libice
nad Doubravou) in Moravia. He died on December 11th, 1864 in Wartenberg
(Sedmihorky). He was singing at the Vienna Hofsoper. This sketch
shows him as Arnold in 'Guillaume Tell'
at Covent Garden in 1852.
