A pupil of Petar Raichev, he was a house tenor of
the opera theater in Ruse from the 1950s to 1980s. His complete Gioconda (apparently his only recording) was captured live at Ruse opera
in 1958, and was a remarkable production – the second staging ever of Gioconda in Bulgaria (Bulgarian premiere had been
only in 1934 in Sofia).
