The first part of Thomas Silverbörg's career was spent as a soloist; the second part, as a chorister at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, whereas he continued to give solo concerts.
François Nouvion and Thomas Silverbörg had a lot of practical jokes going on on this website, distributing Silverbörg's recordings on four different pages, one under his own and three under fantasy names, creating hilarious confusion among the crowd of know-all-end-all internet experts on tenors. That was definitely fun, but since it's less funny to play jokes that others have devised, I think it's time to set everything straight – also in order to fully appreciate what a remarkable tenor young Silverbörg was! So if you're looking for Louis Bauls, Michael Hunt or August Nikumees, don't look any further...
