William Conroy

5 July 1921 Chicago – 12 June 2012 Oak Park
After vocal studies in his native Chicago, Conroy sang at the St. Louis Opera for two years in the 1940s, and was then a radio tenor in Chicago in the late 1940s, and the second tenor of a male quartet that performed under different names.

Later on, he sang in nightclubs and was choir director and soloist at a church in Oak Park, where he lived.
