Efim Borisovich Luder
born 1 April 1930 Chudniv (Zhytomyr district)

He graduated from the Ural conservatory in Sverdlovsk (Ekaterinburg) in 1956, and got his first contract in Perm, where
he stayed until 1965. His next post was at the Cheljabinsk opera (until 1974), and his last one at the opera in Saratov, where he
became a voice teacher at the conservatory in 1986.
His repertory was pretty varied; it included Alfredo, Duca, Lenskij, Vodemon, Vladimir Igorevich, Dubrovskij, Radames, German,
Artur (Ovod/The gadfly by Spadavecchia), Prince, Don Juan (Kamennyj gost/The stone guest by Dargomyzhskij), Cavaradossi, Romashov
(Dva kapitana by Shantyr), Faust, Almaviva, Grigorij, Nadir, Don Antonio (Obruchenie v monastyre/Betrothal in a monastery by
Prokofyev), Eisenstein, Raoul (Das Veilchen von Montmartre).
