Artur Pavlovich Zhilkin
After studies at the Odessa conservatory, he spent his entire career (1971–1996) at the opera theater of Ekaterinburg (called Sverdlovsk in Soviet times), where he was a great favorite with the audience. Important roles: Alfredo, Hoffmann, Simpleton, Cassio, Faust, Almaviva, Lenskij, Vladimir (Pjotr Pervyj/Peter the First by Andrej Petrov).
