A pupil of Carlo Bergonzi, he had a short and unremarkable career. He sang 23 performances of minor roles (mostly the Messenger in Aida) at the
Met from 1995 to 1997. His (only) CD would have seemed more promising than that... After his early retirement from the stage, he taught singing
in China.
