What Todorov did before studying voice from 1956 to 1962 with various teachers, I didn't find out. His debut took place in
Burgas in 1962. In 1963, he moved on the opera theater in Stara Zagora, and in 1966, to Plovdiv, where he was the troupe's
first tenor for the rest of his career.
Guest appearances in Sofia, Stara Zagora, Bratislava (1984) or Santiago de Chile (1972).
His repertory included Turiddu, Enzo Grimaldo, Don Carlo, Radamès, Manrico, Otello, Pinkerton, Cavaradossi, Riccardo,
Vakula (Cherevichki), Grigorij, German or Vladimir Igorevich.
After retiring from the stage, he taught voice.
