Enno Eesmaa
He was born into a peasant family; his real name was Heinrich Esberg. After studying voice with, among others, Aleksander Arder and Tiit Kuusik, he was at the Tallinn opera theater from 1942 to 1987, first as a chorister and from 1946 as a soloist. He sang a lot of comprimario parts, but also Canio, Duca, Almaviva, Gérald, Vladimir Igorevich, Prince in Dargomyzhskij's Rusalka, Lenskij or Uldino. |
