Arnolds Skara

Born 18 October 1907 in Kuldīga. He had prominent teachers: Leone Fischer-Ferry, Arnold Schellenberg and Dmitrij Smirnov (but don't expect that the noble training led to overly impressive results).

During WWII, he sang in Liepāja and Dresden, from 1945 to 1962, he was at the Riga opera. Died 9 April 1987, obviously in Riga since he's buried there.
