Ferry Gruber obituary
This obituary (from July 2004) is a bit vague. Ferry Gruber was, in opera (and that means: at the Bavarian State Opera), almost exclusively a comprimario during his entire career; in operetta (i.e. at the Gärtnerplatztheater), he sang main roles.
