Frederic Freemantel
London April 20, 1873 – died November 21, 1949
He was obviously always a concert tenor, and particularly a Beethoven expert, touring the USA with Beethoven lieder recitals, e.g. at Aeolian
Hall, New York, in 1923, and several more around the centenary of Beethoven's death in 1927, when he performed a lot of Beethoven lieder
for the first time in the US. Later, he was a (singing and speaking) voice teacher in New York City.
