Gioacchino Lauro Li Vigni

A native of Brooklyn (New York City), he used his full name as a singer and uses Jack LiVigni for his activity as
a (much respected) voice teacher.
He sang a few really tiny roles at the Met, which is why he is sometimes remembered as a comprimario; but most of his career was
actually spent on main roles:
Almaviva – Philadelphia, Frankfurt, Beijing
Edgardo – Philadelphia, Thessaloniki
Faust – São Paulo
Don Ramiro (Cenerentola) – Frankfurt
Leicester (Maria Stuarda) – Marseille
Libenskof (Viaggio a Reims) – Frankfurt
Ferrando (Così fan tutte) – Chicago, Lake George Opera, Michigan Opera, Belle Île Festival
Cavaradossi – Belle Île Festival
Turiddu – Portland
He also sang two small but not tiny roles in Amsterdam: Arturo in Lucia as well as Itulbo in Il pirata.
In RA format
I wish to thank Jack Li Vigni for the career outline.
