After initial law studies in Athens, he studied singing in Athens, Vienna and Milano. He made his debut in 1966 as the Herald in
Don Carlo at the Greek National Opera in Athens, where he would appear throughout his career, not frequently but

Percy, Eisenstein, Manrico, Nerone (L'incoronazione di Poppea), Cavaradossi, Otello, Erster Geharnischter, Pollione,
Edgardo, Ismaele, Don Alvaro, Dick Johnson, Don Carlo, Danilo, Erik, Altoum, Spalanzani and Fatty (Aufstieg und Fall der
Stadt Mahagonny).
Other than that, he sang in Lübeck (1970–73), at the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich (1973–75), and as a free
lancer in Stuttgart, Kassel, Aachen, Parma, Montréal and at the festivals in Salzburg, Bad Hersfeld, Iraklion and Witten.
He taught voice at various conservatories throughout Greece.
