After studies in Athens, Trogadis made his debut in 1939 at the Royal Theater in Athens as a chorister. After the establishment
of the Greek National Opera in 1941, he became a soloist there, and stayed until 1958, appearing in lead and secondary roles:
First Prisoner (Fidelio), Sailor (Rhea by Samaras), Nathanael, Nando, Evandro (Alceste), Dancaïre, Arturo (Lucia di
Lammermoor), Thanos (Perouze by Theophrastos Sakellaridis), Borsa, Steuermann, Don Alvaro (one single performance, 7
October 1954), Duca, Jeník, Turiddu, Pinkerton. Not least, he was an operetta tenor: Land des Lächelns, Giuditta,
O vaftistikos (by Theophrastos Sakellaridis), Vogelhändler, Dreimäderlhaus.
