Alessandro Procacci
25 December 1869 Gubbio – 20 February 1946 Milano

| Alessandro Procacci sings | Il trovatore: Miserere, with Angela De Angelis |
He studied voice at the Accademia di S. Cecilia in Rome, and made his debut on November 25th, 1898 at the Lirico in Milano.
His 20-year-career was international; he sang also in Italy a lot, but had greatest successes in the Tsarist empire, where he was even
considered a serious rival of Sobinov. He sang in about 40 Italian places, as
opposed to minimum 50 in Tsarist Russia. He travelled as far as Vladivostok in Russia, and beyond: to the Philippines, and to Indonesia.
