Eugenio Cibelli
This record aimed at raising funds among Italians residing in the USA for the victims of the terrible 1930 earthquake in Italy's poorest region, the Basilicata. The speaker is thought to be a catholic priest named Monsignore Silipigni; Cibelli sings a short version of Pietà, Signore.

In RA format
Very young he moved to the United States with his father, probably the baritone Edoardo Cibelli who was listed also in
some Metropolitan's seasons. He began to study singing and recorded some discs for Columbia. He probably made his debut in the USA.
He moved back to Italy in 1913 where he made his debut the same year at the Teatro Verdi in Salerno in Traviata.
