Gino Sarri is a mystery tenor. He is known for having recorded the minor role of Normanno in the Lucia di Lammermoor with Di Stefano, Gobbi, Arie, Natali and Callas and the main tenor roles in Aida, Trovatore, Otello, Pagliacci, Andrea Chénier and Rigoletto. Apparently, Sarri was a trumpet player in the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and started singing late.
