Giorgio Sembri
Concert program of Giorgio Sembri (with Giuseppe Taddei) – from a German prisoner of war camp in 1944!, where they must both have
been interned. Taddei at least was an anti-fascist resistance fighter and was imprisoned by the Nazis when fighting them in the Italian
Alps. Most probably, Sembri's story will have been similar, otherwise he'd hardly have ended up in a POW camp in the northwest corner of
Germany, near the Dutch border!
In RA format
According to his record labels, Sembri was a member of the Opéra-Comique, Paris.
