Luigi Simonetta-Rangoni (sometimes just Luigi Simonetta) is known to have studied with Kaschmann, but evidently never appeared in public. There is a 1923 Italian catalogue which refers to him as a member of the "high Milanese society". Simonetta-Rangoni's recordings were made for Gramophone and Pathé in Milan during the years 1917–1919.
