Born in 1909, Neverov finished the Leningrad conservatory in 1943, where he had studied with Sofya Akimova-Ershova.

Neverov was a a soloist at the Malij Theater (Leningrad).

Later, Neverov became a soloist at the radio-information center of the USSR council of ministers.

Neverov was a prolific recording artist but never really a top rank tenor.
