Georg Ots sings Die Bajadere: O Bajadere, in Estonian
Estonian baritone Georg Ots (1920–1975) was and is one of the truly great in opera and beyond (he was also a legendary performer of Soviet songs). In operetta, he used to make the occasional foray into tenor land (even on stage, where he sang Barinkay in Zigeunerbaron, Radjami in Bajadere, and Tassilo in Gräfin Mariza). The selection from Zirkusprinzessin is transposed, the one from Bajadere is in original key; both are fantastic.
