Hélène Reynes was an operetta singer and comedian from the 1910s to the late 1930s, primarily in Paris
(Gaîté-Lyrique, Théâtre du Palais-Royal, Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens), but also in La
Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland) in December 1933 and January 1934, or at the Opéra de Tours (April 1931). She specialized not
in classical operetta, but in ephemeral new works. She was also an early dubbing actress in films.
