A native of Venezuela of Italian descendance, he studied voice at the conservatory in Barquisimeto. His first child was born when he
was still very young, which led him to abandon his vocal studies and to switch to marketing so as to earn money for his family.
A few years later, though, he was back to music, and was immediately engaged by the Compañía &Óacute;pera de
Occidente (debut role: Alfredo). With that company, he toured Venezuela and other Latin American countries. Then he became a member
of the Teatro Teresa Carreño in Caracas, plus a voice teacher at "El Sistema", the Venezuelan music education program for
children and teenagers. His roles included Turiddu, Rodolfo, Pinkerton, Camille de Rosillon, but also
Radamès.
In 2004, he left Venezuela for Europe – officially for further vocal studies and for broadening his repertory, but in fact,
he lived on the island of Tenerife and gave concerts, primarily there but a bit throughout Europe; at venues like the Liceo de Taoro
(an event location plus tennis courts plus gym) or the Mexican restaurant "El Rincón de Guadalupe", both in Santa Cruz de
Tenerife.
